ACHUPALLAS

Whenever I visit home, I love spending time at Achupallas, our family-owned hacienda nestled in the heart of the Ecuadorian highlands, less than an hour’s drive from Quito. Over the years, it has helped me gain invaluable insights into rural communities in the Andean region, as well as expertise in milk production, cattle care and resilience to climate shocks in an agricultural context — a skillset that has inspired many aspects of my life.

Achupallas has also gifted me some of the most breathtaking—and unexpected—views, sparking my interest in photography. I’ve captured a few of these moments, which you can explore on the following page.
